Last year, Charles Ware of Wheeling, IL won the men's race with a time of 2:19:16. Tezata Dengersa of Ellicott City, MD was the women's winner at 2:45:28. More than 21,000 participants have finished the Marine Corps Marathon in each of the last three years.
