At 4-5 (3-3 Sun Belt) the Trojans of Troy are looking to take another step to bowl eligibility and will host the already bowl-eligible Navy Midshipmen on Saturday. The Trojans finish up with the top two teams in Sun Belt and will be the overwhelming underdog in both games and could use a win over Navy.
Meanwhile, Navy (6-3) have turned their season around after a 1-3 start thanks to Keenan Reynolds taking over at Quarterback in Head Coach Ken Niumatalolo's offense. Reynolds, a true freshman, took over in the Air Force game and has won four straight games since after a victory over the Falcons. Reynolds is perhaps the best dual-threat Quarterback Navy has seen in some time. He has combined for 965 total yards with 14 touchdowns (6 rushing) and 1 interception.
Troy have their own dual-threat in Running Back Shawn Southward. He leads the team in rushing with 793 yards and 9 touchdowns. Southward has also added 233 yards receiving out of the backfield.
