Robert Griffin III and the Redskins aim to stop a three-game skid as they get a visit from the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Washington Redskins have the opportunity to climb out of the NFC East basement when they get a visit from the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field on Sunday. Both teams come into the game with significant losing streaks, Washington having lost three in a row, while Philadelphia has dropped their last five.

Washington (3-6) lost at home last weekend to 2-6 Carolina. A struggling Redskins' passing defense, which ranks 30th in the league, was able to keep Cam Newton in check, but Robert Griffin III struggled, and the offense was able to put up only 13 points. Pierre Garcon and Brandon Meriweather are listed as questionable for the Redskins, though both are expected to play.

Philadelphia (3-6) will be starting a rookie quarterback in hopes of ending its five-game losing streak. With QB Michael Vick recovering from a concussion, Nick Foles will start behind center for the Eagles. Foles, making his first NFL start, was 22-32 for 219 yards with a touchdown and an interception in relief in Philadelphia's loss to Dallas last weekend. With Washington's rushing defense giving up only 96 yards per game on the ground, Foles will have to take advantage of the Redskins' questionable secondary.
