The Louisville Cardinals and Rutgers Scarlet Knights battle it out for Big East supremacy in the most recent SB Nation BlogPoll.
The Louisville Cardinals and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights continue to represent the Big East in the SB Nation BlogPoll as the Cardinals are ranked No. 19 for another week and the Scarlet Knights moved up two spots to No. 20.
The two teams will meet at the end of the season in what could possibly decide who represents the Big East in the BCS. The Scarlet Knights still have to play at Pittsburgh Panthers before the game against the Cardinals and the Cardinals host the Connecticut Huskies.
The Scarlet Knights and Cardinals are both 9-1 but the Scarlet Knights have a better conference record of 5-0 with the Cardinals at 4-1 with their lone loss being to the Syracuse Orange.
Fellow Big East team, the Cincinnati Bearcats, also received votes.
The top five in the BlogPoll are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, Georgia Bulldogs and Kansas St. Wildcats. The Fighting Irish received 63 first-place votes.
