Bobcats vs. Wizards: Game time, TV schedule and more

Washington gets another shot to pick up their first win of the season, hosting surprising Charlotte on Saturday night.

The Washington Wizards, 0-10 on the season, have another chance to grab their first win as they'll host the 6-5 Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night at the Verizon Center.

The Wizards came tantalizingly close to breaking the streak last time out, losing, 101-100, on Wednesday night to the Atlanta Hawks. It appeared that Martell Webster had beaten the buzzer on a put-back that would have given Washington a 102-101 victory. However, the officials went to video replay, and confirmed that the buzzer had sounded before Webster got the shot off, resulting in the one-point defeat. Kevin Seraphin scored 21 and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Wizards in that game.

The Bobcats have been one of the league's early surprises and, at 6-5, can equal last season's win total with another victory. Charlotte lost to Atlanta, 101-91, on Friday night. Six Bobcat players average over ten points per game on the season, led by Kemba Walker at 18.8, while Ramon Sessions adds 16.4. The Bobcats struggle to shoot the ball efficiently, shooting only 42% on the season and 28% from three, but play tough defense, even going with an unorthodox full-court press at times this season.

The game is set for a 7 p.m. ET start on Saturday, and will be televised on Comcast SportsNet.
