In the latest bowl projections, Virginia Tech is slotted to go to the Sun Bowl while Navy's Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl opponent is projected to be Washington.

Virginia Tech extended their season with a 17-14 win in the Commonwealth Cup against Virginia on Saturday. The victory assured Tech of being bowl eligible at 6-6, but where are the Hokies projected to land? The latest bowl projections at SB Nation.com answer that question and who Navy's Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl opponent might be as well.

The Hokies are currently predicted to be headed to the Sun Bowl against the USC Trojans (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12). Navy (7-4), which has already accepted a bid to go to San Francisco, are projected to play the Washington Huskies (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12).

Navy was the first team to accept a bowl bid but still has one game remaining this season. On Dec. 8, Navy will battle Army in their annual rivalry game. However, this season the game will also determine which side takes home the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy as both teams defeated Air Force this year. Navy won the trophy from 2003-2009. Army has not claimed it outright since 1996.
