NBA scores: Wizards remain winless over weekend

Kevin C. Cox

The Wizards are now 0-11, making them the only team in the NBA yet to win a game this season.

The Washington Wizards had a chance to end their losing streak on Saturday night with the Charlotte Bobcats in town. Despite a strong showing early in the game, Washington ended up falling in double overtime by the score of 108-106 to drop their record to 0-11 this season. The Wizards will look to halt their skid against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

Around the rest of the league, the Heat improved to 10-3 with a two-point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. The Lakers scored 36 points in the first quarter against the Mavericks, and rode that to a big 115-89 road win.

On Sunday, the Knicks remained undefeated at home after knocking off the struggling Pistons, 121-100. The Nets rallied in the fourth quarter to stave off the Trail Blazers, while the Spurs moved to 11-3 following their double-overtime win over the Raptors.

There are eight games on the schedule for Monday, Nov. 26.
