Navy continues their dominance on the ground after early struggles

With one of the best rushing attacks in the nation, the Navy Midshipmen turned in another winning performance on the ground to defeat the Florida Atlantic Owls, 24-17. After Navy went down early, 10-0, this game quickly became the Keenan Reynolds show. With his option attack, Reynolds filled the stat sheet again this week, compiling 306 total yards and hitting pay dirt three times. FAU's Jonathan Wallace did some turf-buring of his own, rushing for 111 yards on 28 carries, but could not match the dynamic Navy attack. Navy moves to 6-3 on the season, taking their sixth-best running game to the bank for another week.

Box Score Hero: Navy's do-it-all quarterback Keenan Reynolds had another dazzling day on the ground, chalking up 159 yards on the ground to go along with his 147 passing yards. Two touchdowns through the air and one on the ground punctuate another remarkable game.

Rankings Ramifications: Navy continues their impressive campaign, dominating teams on the ground. Florida Atlantic continues their plummet down the Sun Belt conference standings. Neither team is nationally ranked.

But Did They Cover?: Navy failed to cover their 16-point spread, despite their impressive performance.
