The Washington Redskins' injury issues continued after Sunday's 38-21 win over the Cleveland Browns. Center Will Montgomery sprained his MCL and will undergo an MRI. Tackle Tyler Polumbus sustained a concussion during the game, according to a report.
Polumbus left during the third quarter and did not return to the game. Veteran lineman Jordan Black replaced Polumbus after he left the game. Montgomery, who exited the game in the fourth quarter, was originally thought to be questionable to return but he did not come back in the game. Kory Lichtensteiger took over for Montgomery after he left the game.
Montgomery has made 30 consecutive starts at center for Washington, including all 14 games this season. Polumbus also started all 14 games for the Redskins this year and is in his first full season with Washington after joining the team last season.
The Redskins' win put the team into first place in the NFC East.
