The U.S. Soccer Federation is close to finalizing men's national team friendlies in May against Brazil at FedEx Field in Landover, Md., and Scotland at a venue to be determined, the Insider has learned.
The USSF would also like to schedule a third match before World Cup qualifying begins in early June, with an away friendly being suggested. No details have surfaced concerning that location.
FedEx field holds over 80,000 people and has hosted events other than the Washington Redskins, including the Army Vs. Navy NCAA football game.
