An overtime loss and a comfortable win did enough to move Georgetown up two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 college basketball rankings.

The Hoyas moved to No. 10 in the AP poll after falling to No. 2 Syracuse 64-61 in overtime Wednesday night and defeating St. John's 71-61 on Sunday. The nation's coaches also bumped Georgetown up two spots in their poll, to No. 9.

Georgetown enters this week alone in fourth in the Big East standings, with an overall record of 19-5 and 9-4 in the Big East conference.

Georgetown does not play again until Saturday night, when the Hoyas face Providence on the road.

For the record, both SB Nation and ESPN's Joe Lunardi have Georgetown as a 3 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
