Saint Joseph's Vs. George Washington Final Score: Colonials Can't Do Enough, Go Down 73-66

George Washington was hoping to pull an upset victory over the Saint Joseph's Hawks on Saturday afternoon, but the Colonials trailed 37-20 at halftime. Despite a huge second half from George Washington, they just couldn't get enough done offensively to best Saint Joseph's, who walked away with a 73-66 victory on the day. George Washington put down 46 points in the second half, thanks do a big day from Tony Taylor with 14 points while Lasan Kromah added 13 points.

For Saint Joseph's, they were able to hang on at the end thanks to building up a 17 point lead at the half. Langston Galloway led the Hawks in scoring from the bench with 18 points and 5 rebounds, while Carl Jones added 16 points and 5 rebounds. Jones hit on just two of his seven three-point attempts on the day. Halil Kanacevic ended the afternoon with 10 points and 13 rebounds, picking up a double-double in the Saint Joseph's win.
