The American Eagles and the Bucknell Bison clashed on Thursday evening in a game that could determine first place in the Patriot League.. The Bison were able to once again take down American with a close tough loss, 55-50. In the first game of the season between the two teams, Bucknell was able to pull out the 67-61 victory.

On Thursday night, American suffered their first loss at home for the season. Bucknell needed a big game from Mike Muscala in their win over American earlier in the year and got another one from Muscala on Thursday. Muscala ended the night with 26 points while Daniel Munoz led American with 14 points. American falls to 9-4 in conference play while Bucknell improves their lead in the division to two-games, moving to 11-2 in Patriot league play.
