The George Washington Colonials had a big first half against the A10 leading Temple Owls, outscoring the Owls 41-29 at halftime. It looked like George Washington might be able to pull out an upset victory if they should just hold on in the second half. The Colonials couldn't hold on however, as Temple put up 50 points in the second half of the game to pull out the 79-72 victory.
In defeat, Lasan Kromah led the Colonials in scoring off the bench with 22 points. Dwayne Smith didn't do much after the first half, ending the night with just 14 points. For Temple, guards Ramone Moore Khalif Wyatt led the way putting up 25 and 22 points respectively. The Colonials were out rebounded 35-28 in the loss, but Jabari Edwards was able to pick up 10 rebounds off the bench.

The George Washington Colonials made their way to Liacouras Center to take on the Temple Owls, who currently sit atop first place in the A10 conference. The Colonials entered the game on a four-game losing streak, but at halftime look like they can snap that streak if they can hold on to their 41-29 lead. George Washington's defense has been able to force Temple to take bad shots and shoot just 32.1 percent from the floor.
The Colonials on the other hand are shooting 56.7 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from three-point range. Dwayne Smith leads the way for George Washington, putting up 10 points in the first half while Lasan Kromah added another nine points from the bench. Nemanja Mikic and Tony Taylor each added seven points in the first half as George Washington looks to hold on and pull the upset.
