No. 15 seeded Norfolk State Spartans to face off against the No. 7 seeded Florida Gators Sunday with a spot in the Sweet Sixteen on the line.
Fresh off of their 86-84 upset of Missouri on Friday, the No. 15 seeded Norfolk State Spartans will look to keep their magical NCCA tournament run going when they face off against the Florida Gators tomorrow in Omaha. Florida, the No. 7 seed in the West Regional, advanced to the third round by beating the Virginia Cavaliers by a score of 71-45.
This will be another tough test for the Spartans (26-9), as the Gators (24-0) have developed into one of the top programs in the country under head coach Billy Donovan. Norfolk State will look to slow down the Gators prized backcourt of Kenny Boynton, Bradley Beal, and Erving Walker. The Spartans Kyle O'Quinn will attempt to follow up his monster 26 point, 14 rebound performance against Missouri with another dominant game on the interior.
Here is all the TV information for the game:
Game date/time: Sunday, March 18, approximately 6:10 p.m. ET
Location: CenturyLink Center, Omaha, NE.
