How long has it been since Chelsea has played at the home of the Washington Redskins?

FedEx Field will be hosting an international friendly between the US and Brazil on May 30. According to a report on the team's website, soccer will be returning to FedEx Field when Chelsea plays AC Milan on July 28. The last time Chelsea played a game at FedEx Field was in 2005 when they defeated DC United 2-1. Only five players on the current Chelsea roster were on the roster when they played in Washington in 2005.

It would be a part of the upcoming tour that Chelsea has planned in preparation for their upcoming season. This would not be the first time they have played AC Milan on American soil. Chelsea defeated AC Milan 2-1 in 2009 when the two teams played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. That game was played in front of 71,000 fans.

More details about ticket sales and game time will be made available as soon as possible.
