George Washington Vs. Dayton Final Score: Colonials Pounded In 75-59 Loss

The George Washington Colonials will have to wait until next year to snap their now eight year losing streak on the road to Dayton, as the Flyers took out George Washington 75-59 on Saturday afternoon. The Colonials trailed by 11 points at halftime and just couldn't recover from that deficit. Dayton continued to pound on the points in the second half to walk away with another win.

George Washington ended the season on a two-game losing streak now losing nine of their last eleven games. Tony Taylor picked up 17 points while Lasan Kromah added 16 points. Off the bench David Pellom led George Washington in scoring with 18 points, nearly picking up a double-double grabbing nine rebounds on the day.

George Washington Vs. Dayton Score Update: Colonials Down 38-27 At Halftime

The George Washington Colonials were hoping to pick up their first win over the Dayton Flyers on Saturday on the road in seven years, but at halftime it looks like George Washington may have to wait. The Flyers lead George Washington 38-27 at the half, as the Colonials have just one player in double-digit points. David Pellom leads the way with 12 points off the bench while George Washington's next highest leading scorer is Tony Taylor with nine.

Dayton has just one player with double-digit points at the half, in center Matt Kavanaugh with 10 points, but the rest of their starting have have all scored at least six points outside of Paul Williams. George Washington is out rebounding Dayton, but the Colonials just can sink their three-point shots while the Flyers are shooting three of four from the outside.
