The Washington Wizards are looking to pull off the upset on Monday night in Chicago against the Eastern Conference-leading Bulls. The Wizards lead by four after 24 minutes at the United Center. The Bulls continue to play without the constantly banged-up Derrick Rose, and have committed 11 turnovers in the first half alone. Chicago does not have a player in double figures and went ice cold for a stretch in the second quarter.
Washington has not exactly been shooting the lights out either on the offensive end, hitting just 35 percent from the floor. Kevin Seraphin leads all scorers with 10 points but he's also already put 13 shots up. John Wall and Jordan Crawford added seven points each from the back court, but they're a combined 5 of 16 from the field.
If Washington can continue to force turnovers, they have a shot to pull off the upset. While Chicago may be one of the league's best defensive teams, it will be hard for Washington to shoot much worse.
