Virginia Tech Football: Saturday's Maroon-White Spring Game Canceled

Stay connected for news and updates

The Virginia Tech Hokies annual Maroon-White Game, to be televised for the first time ever under head coach Frank Beamer, has been canceled Saturday due to inclement weather in Blacksburg. Via the Washington Post's @HokiesJournal:

It appears the game is not only canceled for today, but will not be rescheduled in the future:

The day was not a total lose for Beamer's team though, as Virginia Tech announced they have signed the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the country, Bucky Hodges. The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder is a four-star recruit from Virginia Beach, VA and was one of the more sought-after recruits during the spring game season.
