Jeff Allen played all four seasons of his college career at Virginia Tech. A D.C. native, Allen averaged 13.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in his senior season.
Monday afternoon, while speculation was running wild that Seth Greenberg, Allen's former coach, would be fired, the forward took to Twitter and had this to say
Man I wish I was at tech 4 this news don't want to get my hopes up but if it's wat I this it is shuda happen a long time ago
— Jeff Allen ♊ (@Cool_Jallen) April 23, 2012
Cue Twitter mayhem.
Allen was peppered with questions, the most straightforward of them being this one.
NawRT @919VThokie14: @Cool_Jallen @Jt_Chillin did you guys like Seth as a coach?

And finally, just to sum up his feelings:
@Int_Hank10 I not happy he lost his job he can go to anova school just wish he wasnt there wen I was

And with that, we'll leave this scene for others to parse.
