Bobcats Vs. Wizards Score Update: Washington Blowing Out Charlotte By 24 At Half

The Washington Wizards continued their strong play of late in the first half against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on Monday night, taking a 63-39 lead into the locker room after 24 minutes. Looking for their fourth straight win, it's the largest halftime lead of the season for the Wizards, who are well on their way to completing the season sweep of the NBA's worst team.

Washington was incredibly efficient on the offensive end, shooting 63 percent from the floor and getting everyone involved. John Wall has been the best player on the floor, affecting the game in all areas with 12 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. Along with Wall, Jan Vesely paced the scoring among the starting give with a perfect five-for-five half and 10 points. But it was the bench that really turned it up and started blowing Charlotte off the floor. Randy Wittman received 32 points from his bench in the first half, including a 12-point first half performance from Nene. Cartier Martin also added seven points, hitting three of six attempts from the floor.

The Bobcats, meanwhile, are playing the brand of basketball that has many labeling them as the worst team in the history of the NBA. They have nearly as many turnovers, 14, as made field goals, 16. Gerald Henderson has ten points but he's been the only capable NBA player on the floor for Charlotte.
