NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament 2012, Loyola (MD) Vs. Canisius: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The top-seeded Loyola Greyhounds (14-1) begin play in the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday when they host the Canisius Golden Griffins (6-7) at Ridley Athletic Complex. Loyola won the ECAC Championship this season, while Canisius was the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champion.

This is the third time in school history that Loyola has earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The Greyhounds were also the top seed in 1998 and 1999. Loyola is making its 20th all-time appearance in the NCAA Championships, its 18th at the Division I level. The Greyhounds hold an 8-19 all-time record, 8-17 in Division I games.

Loyola's last appearance in the tournament came in 2010, when the Greyhounds lost 11-10 in triple overtime at Cornell.

The winner of this matchup will face the winner of the North Carolina and Denver game.
