The Players Championship 2012: Rickie Fowler Shoots Six-Under Round Of 66 On Saturday

The third round of the 2012 Players Championship is winding down Saturday, and there is a new name in the mix atop the leaderboard. Rickie Fowler shot a six-under round of 66, and is now tied tied for second place at nine-under par.

Matt Kuchar, one of three co-leaders entering the third round along with Zach Johnson and Kevin Na, is two-under for the day and currently leads the tournament at 10-under par. Na is one-under on Saturday and is tied with Fowler, one shot back of Kuchar. Johnson is one-over so far in the third round, and is now three shots off the lead.

Tiger Woods shot an even par 72 on Saturday, and is two-under for the tournament. American George McNeil had a horrific showing at TPC Sawgrass in the third round, carding a ten-over par 82.
