Local rivals Johns Hopkins (12-3) and Maryland (10-5) face off today in Annapolis, Maryland in a NCAA Men's Lacrosee Quarterfinal battle.

This is the 109th time these two schools have met, with John Hopkins winning the first matchup 10-0 in 1895. The Blue Jays lead the all-time series, 68-39-1, but Maryland won the most recent game in upset fashion, besting Hopkins 9-6 at Homewood Field in April.

Maryland was the runner up in last year's tournament, falling to Virginia in the championship game. Perennial power Johns Hopkins has not made a national semifinal since 2008.

The winner of this week's game will face the winner of the Duke-Colgate matchup next Saturday in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Here is what you need to know for Saturday's game:

Game Day and Time: Saturday, May 19, 2012, 12:03 p.m. ET
