2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, Maryland Vs. Johns Hopkins Final: Terps Upset Second Ranked Blue Jays, 11-5

The Maryland Terrapins pulled off the stunning upset over the second-seeded Johns Hopkins Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, MD.

The Terps eliminated the Blue Jays by a final score of 11-5 and will advance to the Final Four.

For Maryland, Drew Snider scored three goals to lead the way as Mike Chanenchuk and John Haus scored two goals apiece and Joe Cummings, Billy Gribbin, Landon Carr and Keviin Cooper each scored one goal for the Terrapins.

Maryland will face the winner of Sunday's matchup between the third ranked Duke Blue Devils and the Colgate Raiders.

For Johns Hopkins, it's another disappointing season as three out of the last four years, the Blue Jays have been eliminated in the Elite Eight.
