Virginia looks to win its second straight ACC Tournament title and earn the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

After finishing the regular season with a 36-16-1 overall mark, including an 18-12 record in conference play, the Virginia Cavaliers enter the 2012 ACC Baseball Tournament as the No. 4 seed, looking to defend their 2011 tournament title. UVA, which has won the conference tournament twice in the last three years, will join top-seeded Florida State, along with No. 5 Clemson and No. 8 Georgia Tech in Pool A.

The Cavaliers will face the Tigers on Thursday at 1 p.m. at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C. -- the site of the tournament, which runs from Wednesday through Sunday. They will also play Georgia Tech and Florida State on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The team with the best record from Pool A will play the team with the best mark from Pool B, which includes No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 NC State, No. 6 Miami (Fl.) and No. 7 Wake Forest.

All tournament games will be televised by CSN Mid-Atlantic and be streamed online at ESPN3. Sunday's championship game (12 p.m. EST) will be shown on ESPN2.
