The Atlanta Braves scored runs in the bottom of the first and third innings to take an early 2-0 lead on the Washington Nationals. But the Nats responded with two runs of their own in the top of the fourth inning to the knot the score at 2-2 which is where the score stands after five innings of play.
The Nationals have three hits in the ballgame to the Braves one. Gio Gonzalez got the start for Washington and has given up one hit and two earned runs while walking two and striking out five Atlanta batters thus far.
