Stay connected for news and updates

The contest between the Army Black Knights and the Virginia Cavaliers in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament regionals was suspended not long after it began due to inclement weather Friday morning.

Virginia was batting in the bottom of the first when severe weather rolled into the area, causing a delay at 11:15 a.m. Virginia and it will resume play at 1 p.m. Saturday at Davenport Field in Charlottesville, Va. The game is currently scoreless with Virginia's Brandon Cogswell batting with a man on first and a 1-1 count.

Fans in attendance will need to keep their ticket stubs in order to be able to regain entrance to the game when it resumes Saturday afternoon.
