2012 U.S. Open Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods Trails Leader By Three Strokes

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods is still in it. Though shooting 3-over par through 12 holes on day three on Saturday at the U.S. Open, Woods trails his playing partner Jim Furyk by just three strokes.

The front nine was a bit rough. Woods bogeyed four holes over the first nine holes, with his worst coming on the 8th hole, missing a short put with a chance for birdie. Woods shot a 69 and 70 over the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Trailing Furyk and tied for second are Graeme McDowell and Nicolas Colsaerts, who are both even over the tournament thus far.
