With a trade that added Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor to a Washington Wizards roster that already featured John Wall, there is a sense of optimism in D.C. Add rookie Bradley Beal who has drawn comparisons to Eric Gordon and the team has some fans excited.
To make waves, though, they'll have to get through a long NBA regular season before earning a spot in the playoffs. That 2012-13 schedule will be released for the Wizards and the rest of the NBA on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
The schedule will be announced live on NBA TV in an hour long special that will highlight the most anticipated games and those that will be played on holidays such as Christmas day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
