2012 London Olympics, Medal Count: United States Earns Six Medals On Sunday, Trails China By One Overall

The second full day of competition is officially in the books at the 2012 London Olympics, with Sunday seeing the United States capture six total medals in three events, shooting, diving and swimming. China still tops the overall medal count, with 12 total medals (six golds), and Italy has slipped to third place with seven medals.
