Greenbrier Golf Classic 2012 Preview: Tiger Woods Looks To Make It Two In A Row

Tiger Woods will be making his West Virginia debut as he attempts to follow up his AT&T National victory.

The 2012 Greenbrier Gold Classic tees off on Thursday morning and will feature Tiger Woods making his debut in the state of West Virginia. The Classic, which takes place in White Sulphur Springs, WV, began in 2010. Woods will be attempting to follow up his PGA Tour win at Congressional in the AT&T National last week.

Woods will take the course on Thursday grouped with Webb Simpson and Steve Stricker as one of the top "star" groupings in the event. Tom Watson, Jim Furyk and Keegan Bradley presents another threesome to follow during the tournament on the first day. Phil Mickelson will be paired with two former winners of the Greenbrier Golf Classic, Scott Stallings and Stuart Appleby

Greenbrier Classic Concert Series also takes place over several nights. On July 4, Toby Keith will perform with special guest Lionel Richie. On July 6, Rod Stewart and the Fray will perform. Bon Jovi will close out the event on July 7.
