2012 Greenbrier Classic: Troy Kelly Moving Up The Leaderboard

Stay connected for news and updates

The third round of the 2012 Greenbriar Classic is underway and so far Troy Kelly, the nine-year pro from Tacoma, Wa., is moving up the leaderboard.

Through six holes, Kelly is currently in second place behind the leader, Webb Simpson. Kelly is tied for second place with five other golfers (Jonathan Byrd, Charlie Beljan, Jeff Maggert, Jerry Kelly, Martin Flores) and is currently six-under par on the day behind Simpson who holds the lead at nine-under par.

Kelly has birdied on four of the six holes he's played thus far. The rest of the field will tee off later today but it seems that Kelly is making a strong push to put himself in position to win in the tournament's final round on Sunday.
