2012 Greenbrier Classic: Troy Kelly Atop The Leaderboard After Round Three

Stay connected for news and updates

Troy Kelly started the day strong at four-under par through his first six holes in the third round of the 2012 Greenbrier Classic. He continued his remarkable play through the final twelve holes and as a result, has moved atop the leaderboard at 12-under par.

Kelly shot an eight-under par on Saturday and is now two strokes ahead of Webb Simpson who started the day at the top of the leaderboard and nine-under par but now finds himself tied for second place with Ken Duke, Charlie Beljan and Ted Potter, Jr.

Kelly's lead may not be safe as Simpson, Duke, Beljan and Potter Jr. have all yet to finish the back nine, but Kelly has done what he's supposed to do which is put himself in position to win on Sunday.
