Play has begun Sunday morning in the 2012 Wimbledon Men's Final at the All England Club, where Brit Andy Murray is looking to accomplish a feat 70 years in the making against Roger Federer. Murray currently leads 5-4 in the first set. Live action can be seen on ESPN.
A 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 defeat of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals made Murray the first British man to make the finals since Bunny Austin in 1938. A win by Murray over Federer would be the first Wimbledon men's title by a Brit since Fred Perry in 1936.
Six-time champion Federer reached the final by defeating top seed Novak Djokovic in the other semifinal, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. Federer has beaten Murray in two other grand slam finals, the 2008 U.S. Open and the 2010 Australian Open.
