2012 Greenbrier Classic Leaderboard: Ted Potter Jr. Wins In Playoff

Although it wasn't the names many expected to be involved, the 2012 Greenbrier Classic had an exciting conclusion, as Ted Potter Jr. defeated Troy Kelly on the third sudden-death playoff hole.

Both Potter Jr. and Kelly entered the day off of the lead, however a collapse down the stretch opened the door for both of them. Potter Jr. shot a six-under on his final 18 including an eagle-birdie finish on the last two holes to force a playoff with Kelly who was four-under on the day.

The two each shot par on the first hole, and then on the second playoff hole, Potter Jr. appeared to have the championship wrapped up before Kelly hit a 20-foot par to force a third playoff. On the 75th hole of the competition for the two, Potter Jr. was finally able to claim the title.
