American Men's Basketball Schedule Released

The American Eagles have released their schedule for the 2012-13 season. The team will play games against out of conference opponents such as Minnesota, Georgetown and Kansas.

The American U. Eagles officially released their 2012-13 men's basketball schedule on Wednesday and it includes three big out of conference games. The Eagles will open their season on November 9 at the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Their first home game of the season will be on November 15 against the Mount St. Mary's, Md. Mountaineers.

The Eagles then have back-to-back road games on December 22 and 29 against the Georgetown Hoyas and the Kansas Jayhawks respectively. After the new year, the Eagles will open up Patriot League play on January 12 on the road against the Colgate Raiders. The Eagles will play their first home conference game on January 16 against the Lehigh Hawks.

The Eagles will close out the regular season at Bender Arena against the Army Black Knights on February 23 and the final regular season game will be at the Lafayette Leopards on March 2. The Patriot League tournament will begin on March 6.
