The Big East has announced that Mike Aresco will officially be introduced as the conference's new commissioner in a press conference at the New York Athletic Club on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
Aresco was unanimously voted as The Big East's new commissioner by the league's Presidents on Tuesday morning and will be replacing interim commissioner Joseph Bailey.
The Big East will hold a press conference tomorrow at 10:30 am in the New York Athletic Club to introduce Mike Aresco as commissioner.

Prior to his appointment, Aresco acted as the Executive Vice President of Programming at CBS and was responsible for all college programming at the network. In addition, he negotiated the contracts for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, regular season basketball games and football bowl games.
His most notable achievement likely came in the form of his role in the negotiation that acquired the exclusive rights to NCAA Men's Basketball through 2024 for the CBS Television Network.

On Tuesday afternoon, The Big East officially announced via press release that Mike Aresco has been named the conference's new commissioner after he was unanimously elected by the league's collective group of Presidents.
Aresco will replace Joseph Bailey who had been acting as interim commissioner after John Marinatto resigned in May.
