Stay connected for news and updates

Gabby Douglas of Virginia Beach, Va. leads halfway through the women's individual gymnastics all around competition in London. Through two of four rotations in the competition, Douglas has scored 31.699 in the competition, ahead of Russians Viktoria Komova, second with a score of 31.432 and Aliya Mustafina, third with a score of 31.333.

She has already completed two events in her third rotation, the vault and the uneven bars. She still has to do the floor exercise and the balance beam to complete her third rotation. The competition looks like it will go all the way down to the final event of the final rotation before we see who comes away with the gold medal. Douglas has put herself in a good position to claim it for the United States.
