Not only is this summer the 30th anniversary of the trade that brought Hall-of-Fame defenseman Rod Langway to the Washington Capitals, as Ted Starkey pointed out in this piece that ran elsewhere on the site, but Tuesday night turned out to be Capitals Night at Nationals Park.

And is there a better way to celebrate Capitals Night than to have Rod Langway in the house to present the lineup cards? No. No, there is not.
