William & Mary Vs. Maryland: 14 True Freshmen On Terps Depth Chart

College football is right around the corner, and the Maryland Terrapins are bringing some fresh faces to the party.

No fewer than 14 true freshmen adorn the depth chart for the season opener against William & Mary.

The most prominent of those players are quarterback Perry Hills, wide receiver/kick returner Stefon Diggs and cornerback Sean Davis. All three are projected to be a big part of the gameplan and obviously will have a big hand in how the season plays out.

There are plenty of other freshmen who figure to get ample playing time despite being listed as reserves. WR NIgel King is currently slated behind Kevin Dorsey, but could see some action. Alvin Hill and Makinton Dorleant are also on the depth chart as backup corners, but should get time in subpackages.

In less than a week, we'll know exactly how head coach Randy Edsall has in mind.
