Deutsche Bank Leaderboard: Tiger Woods, Jeff Overton Sit Atop Field

Tiger Woods and Jeff Overton are tied for the lead at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship.

Tiger Woods and Jeff Overton currently sit tied atop the leaderboard at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship at the Tournament Players Club of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts after shooting a 7-under par in their opening rounds.

Woods began the day on the back-nine and recorded three birdies. Upon starting the front-nine, he caught a hot streak that saw him birdie his next five holes bringing his total to eight on the day. With the exception of a bogey on the final hole, he had an excellent opening round.

Overton also caught fire in his final nine holes, closing out his round with six birdies over a seven hole span. With the exception of a bogey on the tenth hole, he also finished the day with eight birdies.
