William & Mary Vs. Maryland 2012: Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

The Maryland Terrapins kickoff the 2012 season on Saturday, Sept. 1, as they play host to the William & Mary Tribe at Byrd Stadium.

Randy Edsall's Terrapins will certainly look to improve in 2012. In Edsall's first year as Maryland head coach in 2011, the Terrapins went a disappointing 2-10. Edsall made a few changes following the 2011 season, notably, bringing in Mike Locksley to take over as the offensive coordinator and Brian Stewart to be the new defensive coordinator.

At the least, Edsall will look to get Maryland back to a bowl game, after dropping the final eight games of the 2011 season. It'll be a difficult battle for Edsall, as Maryland's starting quarterback, C.J. Brown, is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Edsall's offense will now rely on a pair of true freshmen quarterbacks, Perry Hillis and Caleb Rowe.

Game time, TV channel: 3 p.m. ET, ESPN3.

Point spread: Line is OFF.
