James Madison Vs. West Virginia: Mountaineers Having Little Trouble With Dukes, Lead 28-3 At Half

The West Virginia Mountaineers have found little resistance from the James Madison Dukes in the first half at FedEx Field on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 28-3 after two quarters of play. West Virginia scored just five minutes into the game, and have not let their foot off the gas since, amassing 348 yards of total offense in the half to just 99 for James Madison.

Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith has been impressive, completing 23 of 28 passes on the day, for 268 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Shawne Alston has carried the ball right times for 37 yards, with one touchdown. Wide receiver Stedman Bailey has caught nine of Smith's passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns.

James Madison quarterback Justin Thorpe is just three of seven passing in the game, for 27 yards. The Dukes actually have four more penalty yards (31) than passing yards in the game.
