For the second straight day at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Tiger Woods will play in the final pairing of the 2012 TOUR Championship. The Tour typically keeps players with the same partners through the first two days, but with only the top 30 in the FedExCup Standings in action, they have adjusted and are sending groups off according to first-round scores. Woods will be paired with Justin Rose, who set the low number early in the day with a 66. At 4-under, both Woods and Rose are one shot clear of a quartet of players.
Golf Channel will once again carry the broadcast on Friday, with coverage scheduled from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Aside from Woods, the other superstar pairing will feature Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson. They are two of five players who control their own destiny in Atlanta, and are three shots back at 1-under.
