The Virginia Cavalier football team will head to Texas to face the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday. TCU is favored by 18.
The Virginia Cavaliers football team will head to Ft. Worth on Saturday to take on the No. 17 TCU Horned Frogs. They'll do so coming off of a 56-20 loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets last weekend. The Horned Frogs currently have the nation's longest winning streak, victorious in each of their last 11 games.
The Virginia rushing attack needs to show improvement, as they've only been averaging 104 yards per game on the ground thus far in 2012. Michael Rocco has been asked to pick up the slack, but he's been struggling to consistently make the longer throws this season. He's still thrown for 712 yards and four touchdowns, despite having tossed three interceptions this season.
TCU has one of the better passing attacks in the nation. Casey Pachall will be pulling the strings for the Frogs, he's completed 84.6 percent of his passes this season for 536 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. They might look to run the ball more against Virginia though, as the Cavaliers have struggled to defend the run in 2012.
Oddsmakers are picking TCU to come out on top Saturday afternoon, favored by 18 at home. The over/under has been set at 54 points.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. ET from Texas, and coverage can be found on ESPN, ESPN3D and WatchESPN.
