Louisiana Tech Vs. Virginia score update: Cavaliers being trounced, trailing 41-24

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are upset-minded and are leading the Virginia Cavaliers 41-24 after three quarters.

Trailing Virginia 24-20 at the break, Louisiana Tech came out and embarked on a 14-play, 73-yard drive that ended with a Ray Holley 11-yard scoring run to take a 27-24 lead.

Following a Michael Rocco interception, the Bulldogs went 37 yards to build a 10-point advantage on a Colby Cameron 14-yard scamper.

Then, the proverbial dam broke for the Cavaliers. On 2nd-and-5 from his own 25, Rocco was picked off yet again by Chip Hester, who ran the gift into the end zone to put Louisiana Tech ahead 41-24.

Virginia looked terrific on offense in the first half, but hasn't been able to do anything in the last 15 minutes. The Cavaliers have been stifled with Michael Rocco only being able to generate 13 yards through the air while throwing two costly interceptions.

Following the second turnover, Rocco was benched for sophomore Phillip Sims.

Virginia still has been undisciplined, taking three more penalties in the third quarter to bring its total to 13.
