The Washington Redskins lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday 21- 6 at halftime, thanks to the strong play of quarterback Robert Griffin III and running back Alfred Morris. The less-heralded member of the Redskins rookie backfield, Morris has 75 yards rushing on 11 carries in the first two quarters, and now has x yards on x carries for the season.
After the jump, check out Morris' Sunday touchdown run and subsequent three-for-one celebration.
Here is the Morris touchdown run with just over five minutes left in the half, from 39 yards out. Not sure much more than a solitary finger was place on No. 46 on his way to the endzone.
The touchdown run was nice, but the mixing of multiple celebration displays in some sort of Voltron-esque touchdown extravaganza was the highlight of the half. From the baseball bat home run swing, into what appears to be a Mile High Salute, capped by a, well, I'm not sure what the last hand/wrist tap display was. Perhaps someone can help me out on that one.
