Marion Bartoli and Maria Sharapova's showdown for a spot in the semifinals at the U.S. Open will open the action on Wednesday morning as part of spillover matches from Tuesday's rain delay.
No. 11 Bartoli is up 4-0 on No. 3 Sharapova in their first set.
Andy Roddick and Juan Martin del Potro will also complete their round-of-16 action, as the two had just started a first-set tiebreaker when rain halted the match for the night.
Spots in the semifinals will be on the line Wednesday for some of the world's best, as Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Andy Murray look to continue strong runs into the semifinals in the season's final major event.
