On Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens will clash for the Super Bowl title. And once that begins, a wave of high-financed, well planned Super Bowl commercials will be available for viewing pleasure.
As usual, the top car companies are breaking bank for air time this weekend. Mercedes-Benz went ahead and hired super model Kate Upton as the centerpiece for this year's TV spot. But in this particular clip, Audi was able to showcase their new ride, but had a nice short story go with.
Given that it's the Super Bowl, it was admirable to see Audi go with bravery as a theme. A lot of other companies may neglect the event altogether and pitch a totally unique concept. This seemed to align with the theme everyone will be feeling come Sunday.
This 49ers-Ravens match-up will be a battle throughout. By the time this commercial takes place, it should really click with the audience. Everyone loves the underdog after all.
